As a passionate and versatile Software Engineer, I specialize in building intuitive front-end experiences and robust full-stack applications across web and mobile platforms. With hands-on experience in React, React Native, Node.js, PHP, and Drupal CMS, I bring a strong focus on clean code, scalable architecture, and performance optimization.

Currently at LSU Libraries, I’ve developed custom Drupal modules for full-text search, API-driven content ingestion, and interactive diagramming tools using JointJS. I’ve also led efforts to modernize and migrate web systems, blending creative problem-solving with deep CMS expertise. My graduate assistantship further honed my ability to integrate third-party systems and resolve complex styling and framework conflicts with precision.

In past roles, I’ve delivered production-ready mobile apps with React Native, integrated real-time features using TalkJS and push notifications, and collaborated on cross-functional teams to enhance UX, analytics, and deployment pipelines. My freelance and startup experience instilled a proactive mindset and agile workflow that thrives under both creative freedom and tight deadlines.

Sep 2024 - Present

• Developed a Search API (Drupal module) processor based on a contributed module ‘Search API attachments’ to allow full text search on pdf files referenced via file paths
• Engineered a Drupal module utilizing Drupal Form API, Entity API & Queue API to facilitate processing and parsing data from API endpoints into CSV
• Created an interactive diagramming tool using JointJS (JavaScript library) that allows users to author diagrams directly within Drupal CMS
• Built responsive templates using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript with cross-browser compatibility
• Utilized Git for version control in a collaborative team environment
